The wedding is over and they are hitched!!
Here are some photos of the new Mr and Mrs., wedding party and family.
I am home for lunch and thought that I would post a photo of the wedding cake. I will be back later with photos from the wedding and reception.
Just a short post today.
I am on a creative roll. Last night Lesli and I scrapbooked until 12:30. We have not done that in quite a while. I completed 3 layouts that I love. This morning I got up at 6 AM (you know the dog decided it was time to get up) and I have completed 1 layout this morning. I have all kinds of ideas rushing around in my head and am wanting to get to scrapbooking them.
I have the bottom layers of the wedding cake baked and in the freezer and am going to bake the top layer today. I have the design for the cake planned out in my head and will be glad to get it done tomorrow.
Renae and Del will be here this afternoon and then they will go have dinner and visit with one of Del's friends that is in town. I am so EXCITED for them to get here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I am off to do laundry, bake the cake and scrapbook.

Oh yea we have a winter storm watch and are supposed to get as much as 10 inches by Monday morning. Crazy spring weather!!!
Where is the time going? I have so much to do this week and not enough time to do it.
Renae and Del are getting married next Monday, March 30th. They are getting married at the courthouse and then coming here for dinner with the family. We will be having lasagna, salad, garlic bread and of course a wedding cake. I am baking and decorating the cake. Last night I bought the cake topper. It is a Willow Tree cake topper. It is very nice and very simple. Renae is so not a foo foo person so the Willow Tree topper is just perfect for her.
They will be arriving on Saturday and then on Sunday we are going shopping for something for her to wear for her wedding.
I have been having fun with Kayla this last week. She has been reading the Twilight Series of books. She started reading them last Monday and is almost half way thru the final book, Breaking Dawn. It has been fun listening to her talk about what she thinks is going to happen. She has been going to quit reading them about 6 times, but so far she has not. They are just really good books. If you have not read them there is no time like the present.
I guess I had better get to bed, morning seems to come earlier every day. Have a wonderful evening.

Friday night, Annette, Lesli and I went to Walmart for the Twilight DVD release. We had great time. We waited at the front of the line for and hour visiting with other fans and watching outtakes on the TV that they has set up. We laughed and joked with the security guards. Annette took her Pocket Edward doll with her. Here are a few photos from Friday night.

I was surfing my blog list this morning and came across a really fun site on Laura's blog. She is very inspiratonal and a great scrapbooker. She is just so funny!!
Any way the site is called be funky. You can upload your photos and then turn them into cartoons. So fun. Here are a few that I played with:
A couple of days ago I noticed my dog, Roxie, digging at the carpet by our TV stand. I got after her and told her to stop. She stopped for a bit and then was right back to it. I let her outside figuring that she was bored. When she came back in about 40 minutes later she went right back to the TV stand. She just sniffed around and went and got her bone. I didn't really think anymore about it. Tonight as I was surfing the net when I noticed Roxie scratching the carpet by the TV again. Just as I was about to say something to her I saw something fly up from the carpet. The next thing that happened was our cat, Riley, jumped up on the shelf and was trying to eat my shamrock plant. I yelled at him to get down. I went over to look at my shamrock plant and there was a ladybug on it. I am guessing that the ladybug has been in the house or quite some time. I grabbed my camera and took a few photos.
until Twilight is released on DVD. It will be available at 12:01 AM on Saturday. A couple of friends and I are planning to go and purchase it and then come home and watch it. I know you are probably thinking "you are nuts", not nuts just absolutely love the movie and the 4 book saga.
Today I bought a new book to read. I think that it will be very interesting. I have always wondered what went into the making of a movie. This is the book that I purchased:
This week at I love Faces the theme is Green. Hmmmm could that be because it is St. Patrick's Day this week? I bet it is.
If you have not had a chance to check out I Love Faces yet, you should make the time to check it out. I have seen some of the best photos over there and have gotten lots of ideas for photos that I can use on my next photo shoot.
I am so tired of winter and am longing for SPRING!!! Tony and I were talking yesterday and we both said "I am so tired of white". It was actually kind of funny because usually by this time of year we are saying "I am so tired of brown". We have had snow more days this winter than we have had for quite a few years. Oh well, it won't be much longer and SPRING will be here. In fact next week it is supposed to be in the 50's and 60's all week. YAY!!
Well Renae has had a couple of ultrasounds now and the Dr. has told her that she is pretty sure that the baby is a girl. They have also moved her due date back by 6 weeks. Her new due date is July 11. They will induce her between 37 and 38 weeks. Renae is diabetic so she is considered high risk and they don't want the baby to get too big so they will induce her early. That means that about the end of June sometime we will get to meet this little bundle of joy.
Robin and Levi had their ultrasound yesterday. We are happy to report that all is well with their little boy or girl. They are not finding out what the sex of the baby is. Levi wants to be surprised, so that means that we will all be surprised. I am guessing a girl, I guess I have a 50/50 chance of being right. The Dr. moved Robin's due date back 2 weeks, so they are now due on July 29th. It is going to be a very busy summer at our house, 3 babies in 6 weeks time.
I have not been creating much lately. I am finally starting to feel better. I did create a couple of cards the other night, so I will share them with you.
I have been working on a Cupcake Album for Kaya's birthday photos. I had given alot of thought to what I wanted to do with her birthday photos and wanted to make something special. I had been saving some papers that I bought last summer and decided to use them. They were purple and green and Kaya's birthday dress was purple and green, so it was perfect. I designed the album and cut them all out of chipboard.
